We all know
that mothers generally do not take the personal looks of their growing children
lightly. And most mothers will always like to be involved in any decision that
has to do with making changes to the aesthetics of their kids when needs be.
Moms usually
find it offensive when anyone engages themselves in making changes on their
children’s appearance without their consent.
It was in
this sense that a mother took to her social media handle to call out her
daughter’s school after her little girl’s curly hair was shaved without her
being notified.
The American
mom, Denise Robinson, has stated that her daughter whose race is mixed had gone
to her school with a ‘full and curly’ hair, but eventually came back home with
her hair ‘totally shaved’.
Reportedly,
the girl’s hair was shaved by the school authority because it was a picture
day. The management of the school has also explained that they do not need to
notify the child’s mother before removing her hair.
But the
girl’s mother doesn’t think so. She perceives the school’s action differently.
Therefore,
in her social media post, the child’s mother, Denise Robinson goes ahead to
explain that in her daughter's class there are three other girls '2 white
girls, one black, none of these girls got scaled' and she is asking why it had
to be her daughter.
She came to
the conclusion that her girl, Tru, had been assaulted because according to her,
'she did not and I repeat have head lice or bugs! So why did this happen?'
