Manchester
City coach, Pep Guardiola has stated that the league is firmly in Chelsea’s
hand and they’re to blame if they let if slip, despite the 4-0 win over West
Ham.
Jesus Navas
scored a goal and assisted one in the first half against a West Ham side they
beat 5-0 in the FA Cup.
Conte was in
the stands to watch the proceedings, but Guardiola doesn’t think City can catch
them, as they’re ten points behind.
“He doesn’t
have to be too worried because Chelsea are nine points ahead,” Guardiola said
at his post-match media conference.
“Only they
can lose the Premier League. The gap is too big, but we will until the last day
be fighting to qualify for the Champions League.
“All the
teams around us are so strong but we want to be up there with them.”
