Billionaire
businessman and chairman of Chanchangi Airline, Ahmadu Chanchangi, died this
morning after suffering from an undisclosed ailment along the Kaduna-Abuja road
while he was being rushed to a hospital in Abuja.
He was 86
years old, and is said to be survived by three wives and about 33 children.
He has been
buried today according to Islamic rites at the Bashama road cemetery in Taraba
state.
His corpse
was taken to the cemetery and laid to rest at about 2:00 pm after prayers were
said at the Chanchangi mosque within the expansive family residence of the
Chachangis at the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna.
