A
father-of-eight from Turkey reportedly fell to his death while he posed on top
of a cliff on his birthday and the tragic fall was captured on camera. The
horrific footage circulated on social media.
The
39-year-old man identified as Halil Da was said to have been posing for a
birthday photo shoot while marking his birthday. He just leapt off a rock at
the historic Urfa Castle located in Southern Turkey, but eventually lost his
balance which resulted in him tumbling off an edge of a cliff.
As seen in
the footage, Halil Da plunged 150ft and eventually landed at the bottom of the
cliff, close to a Kurdish restaurant. He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital
because he sustained damaging injuries all over his body.
It was at the
hospital that he was declared dead after medics battled to save his life. His
body was finally laid to rest by his family at the Abdurrahman Dede Cemetery, a
report said.
