A
57-year-old man has been jailed for 12 years for raping his daughter multiple
times and fathering 8 children with her while keeping her as a sex slave for 22
years.
Domingo
Bulacio began to molest his daughter while she was aged 7 after his wife who
was the girl’s mother left the house. Some of Domigo’s extended family members
were among the 50 persons who witnessed against him during hearing.
He was sentenced
on Wednesday, after 3 judges who sat over the matter reached unanimous
decision, on the count of multiple sex crimes in the northern Argentinian city
of Santiago del Estero.
Testifying,
the man’s daughter told the hearing that her father sexually abused her
repeatedly in their one-room apartment following her mother’s exit from their
home. In the process, she conceived and gave birth to 8 children for him.
The now
30-year-old woman later revealed to the media that she was not the only victim
as some of her father’s relatives have been doing the same thing to their
sisters and daughters.
The sex
offender, who has been nicknamed 'The Monster of Villa Balnearia', met his
waterloo when his youngest son with his daughter contracted an illness that was
life threatening. His daughter, while taking care of the sick, was made to stay
with him at the local hospital for several weeks.
It was
during that time, January 2006, that she opened up to the doctors about whom
the father of her children was. A revelation was also made about how Bulatio committed
other inappropriate engagements with her because they lived in a house with one
room.
A DNA test
confirmed that all 8 children of the lady belonged to her father. Let us know
