Tiger Woods
who is a 14-time major winner has been beset with injury problems over the last
few years and has once again been struck down
This will be
a second disappointment in a matter of days for Woods after missing the cut at
the Farmers Insurance Open last week.
He struggled
to a score of 76 in his first round, four over par, and could not force his way
back into the reckoning on Friday.
It was just
the 16th time in his 328 starts on the US circuit that he has failed to make
the weekend sessions.
