First of
all, it’s difficult to consider China as one of the places fun loving men with
preferences for hot butts would go searching for one. Brazil... may be, or some
Latino stuff.
Secondly,
China is supposed to be a conservative society. So, how come they are having
bum pageants? Well, yes, China is taking the beauty industry by storm. The
country now has its own take on butt competitions.
China
recently held its first ever ‘Women's Beautiful Buttocks Contest’, which
obviously was inspired by Brazil’s ‘Miss Bum Bum’ contest. The event which was
organized by a Beijing-based fitness club, Saipu, went down in a Shenyang mall.
After one
week of stiff competition, the girl with the tag, contestant number 302, was
crowned the winner.
Brazil may
be famous for its annual Miss Bumbum competition, and some people might call
bluff the Shenyang contest. One is sure, the girls kept all the guests
drooling. If you look too closely you will understand why.
It should be
recalled that just a few decades ago, in a culturally conservative country such
as China, for a woman to wear a bikini on the beach would certainly be
considered offensive. How time has changed.
The young
contestants freely sported skimpy thongs and twerked their bums at the mall
with no care in the world.
Zang
Zhichao, a staff of the Fitness Club told reporters, “With the development of
the times, men are looking for more visual stimulation, and the public wants
more entertainment.”
Mr. Zhang, a
key organizer of the event, also claimed that he hadn’t heard of Brazil’s 'Miss
BumBum' contest.
Beautiful
Buttocks contestants traveled from all over China to flaunt their assets the
Liaoning province where the activities were held.
