OMG! Man Arrested for Sleeping with His Mother

A 23-year-old man has been arrested for forcefully sleeping with his own mother. After abusing his 58-year-old mother on July 3, the young man took to his heels to an unknown destination. He has been on the wanted list of the local police before luck eventually ran out him.

As the hide and seek game continued, on Monday, July 10, the culprit was apprehended by members of a transport association. After they caught up with him, they handed him over to the police. The incident which happened in Elliot, South Africa has added to public concern over the increased rate of sexual abuse in the country.

According to the Police Report, a young man raped his mom at her home in a locality in Elliot on July 3. After the pitiable act, he fled the area and could not be traced for several days. It was on Monday, July 10, 2017, that members of the taxi association identified the suspect. He was promptly arrested by them and was handed to the SAPS.

The Cluster Commander, Colonel Gezani of The South African Police Service (SAPS), confirming the incident, thanked the community for their effort in supporting the police in their duties. He noted that the incident has shown that a strong partnership between local communities and the security service is of inestimable value to the fight against crime in the country.

It should be noted that South Africa has witnessed high cases of sexual abuse in recent years. In a town in Eastern Cape, a 95-year-old woman lost her life at her home earlier this year after she was forcefully abused sexually.  Also in Hebron, Pretoria, three South African teenage boys were arrested for sexually abusing a dog, after they had carnal knowledge of the home pet.
