Last Friday, a group of local hunters mobilized and killed a hippopotamus that has been
terrorizing residents of the riverside communities of Abaji and Kwali area
council, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
The beastly
animal was gunned down at the River Gurara forest, in Ashara village of Kwali
area council. Some residents did not waste time as they gathered and butchered
the hippopotamus for meat.
