A Virginia
man used five wheelbarrows to haul in 300,000 pennies to pay off the sales tax
on two of his new cars at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
An aggrieved Nick Stafford paid his $3,000 tax
bill using five wheelbarrows containing the 300,000 pennies on Wednesday following a
dispute with DMV. According to reports, it took DMV staff at least seven hours
to count, working overtime till very late.
What a way to get back at the authority.
