The most
difficult stage in every new relationship seems to be the time when the persons
involved are just starting out. In so many ways they barely knew each other. Their
dos and don’ts are a lot different.
While they
are trying to know each other better, certain situations can creep in which
might have the capacity to either make or mar that relationship forever.
This seems
to be the situation of a Twitter user, Shaunie Easton, who is left with a big
question after she initially refused to pay for a meal her new man requested
for on behalf of his mother.
She took to
her social media platform to briefly narrate what went down between the two and
also share the screenshots of the conversation between her and the new guy.
Based on her
Twitter post, she met a guy and they were just beginning to get along with each
other. On this particular day, she needed to go and get a food for herself and
as she chatted on phone with her new guy, she asked if she could get for him as
well and she was willing to pay for the meal from her own purse.
The guy
replied that he didn’t need the food but wouldn’t mind if she would get for his
mom. The lady, believing that she was only in a relationship with the guy and
not his mother, asked him to pay for his mom’s food. This gesture appeared to
have angered the guy and he asked her not to buy anymore.
The lady who
had already paid for the food still wanted to let go and hand over the food to
the guy on behalf of his mom but the guy would have none of it and told her
off.
Now, the
lady wants to know if her actions were wrong and if her opinion was bad enough
