Following the
2-0 loss Arsenal suffered on Sunday in the hands of Tottenham Hotspur, the
later closed the gap between themselves and Premier League leaders Chelsea to
four points.
The win also
indicates that they will finish above Arsene Wenger’s side for the first time
in 22 years.
Arsenal veteran
and former captain, Thierry Henry, has said that their North London rivals must
start winning silverwares before they feel they have overtaken the Gunners.
Speaking to Sky
Sports Henry said,
“Not envy,
because after 20 years they still don’t have anything to show for it, so far. I
know they are trying to. At the moment I don’t see any shift.”
There has
since been a discourse of a power shift, but Henry does not agree and insists
he does not envy Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
