Mo Abudu's lawyer: Ikoyi building where $50m was found belongs to our client




Mo Abudu was dragged into the recent discovery of cash by EFCC at an apartment in Ikoyi.

In the on-going case, Fayose's media aide, Lere Olayinka claims the apartment 7a and 7b where the money was found belonged to Rotimi Amaechi who gave one of the apartments to his 'girlfriend' Mo Abudu.

U.S. drops massive GBU-43 'mother of all bombs' on Islamic State




The United States dropped a massive GBU-43 bomb, the largest non-nuclear bomb it has ever used in combat, in eastern Afghanistan on Thursday against a series of caves used by Islamic State militants, the military said.

Senate has vowed to publish names of importers and banks found culpable in ongoing investigation into over N30 trillion alleged foreign exchange frauds perpetrated between 2006 and 2017.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Customs, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, made this known on the second day of meeting with representatives of all commercial banks, the Central Bank of Nigeria and Ministry of Finance on Thursday.

Facebook Messenger Adds Group Payments




Facebook Messenger is extending its peer-to-peer (P2P) payments offerings, which launched in 2015, by adding a group payments functionality, according to TechCrunch.

Now, users in group conversations can select the friends they want to send money to and enter the amount as well as a short note, according to Engadget. Users can also request funds in the same way, or can enter in a total value and have Messenger divide the amount and charge everyone evenly. The platform will be free to users that have entered debit information and a PIN to verify payments into the app. It’s initially available for US users on desktop and Android, but iOS support is likely on the way.

$50 million: Former PDP chairman Mu’azu disowns Lagos apartment where cash was found




A former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu, has disowned the Lagos apartment, where operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) found more than $50million behind false walls on Wednesday.

Embattled journalist and blogger, Kemi Olunloyo, was on Tuesday granted bail by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt.

Olunloyo, who had been remanded in Port Harcourt prison for the past one month, was granted bail in the sum of N1 million.
